{"id":830,"date":"2012-05-05T11:56:00","date_gmt":"2012-05-05T16:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anildesai.net\/?p=830"},"modified":"2012-05-07T11:56:37","modified_gmt":"2012-05-07T16:56:37","slug":"austin-code-camp-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anildesai.net\/index.php\/2012\/05\/austin-code-camp-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"Austin Code Camp 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Austin .NET User Group (ADNUG) is again holding it\u2019s annual Austin Code Camp 2012 event.&#160; The date is <strong>Saturday, June 9th, 2012<\/strong> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pec.stedwards.edu\/\">St. Edward\u2019s Professional Education Center (PEC)<\/a> (the same location as the last few years).&#160; The event runs all day, and attendees can pick which sessions are most interesting to them.&#160; Visit <a title=\"http:\/\/austincodecamp2012.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/austincodecamp2012.com\/\">http:\/\/austincodecamp2012.com\/<\/a> for more information about the event. <\/p>\n<p>The event features speakers that focus on development-related topics with a focus on real demonstrations (rather than marketing information).&#160; All sessions are free to attendees, and volunteers in the community are invited to speak.&#160; Organizer <a href=\"http:\/\/lostechies.com\/johnteague\/2012\/04\/23\/austin-code-camp-june-9th\/\">John Teague<\/a> states it a little better:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>All of the content in community driven, presented by members of the community.&#160;&#160; I would encourage you to come and talk about whatever is interesting in the world of software development.&#160; While the event is organized by the Austin .Net Users group, it is not limited to discussions about .Net.&#160;&#160; It is an excellent opportunity to gain public speaking experience.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If you\u2019re planning to attend, please be sure to register on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/event\/3028354891\">Austin Code Camp 2012 Eventbrite page<\/a>.
